Terms and Conditions

Transaction Currency:

All room rates are quoted in New Zealand Dollars on a per night per room basis and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 15%.    All other transactions are in NZ Dollars and include GST of 15%.

Reservations:

Age: You must be 18yrs or over. Photo identification is to be presented on arrival.

Conditions of Stay:

Please be advised that on arrival we request that our Guest Registration Form is completed and signed and that all conditions of stay are met.  We reserve the right to refuse anybody who does not met our terms and conditions or who presents as intoxicated, under the influence or displays anti-social behaviour.

Payment:

All reservations made through this website must be accompanied by a valid credit/debit card.

Please be advised that the card is verified at this time.  We will contact you if there is any issue with the verification.  Your booking is secure only after a successful verification.

The full amount of the reservation may be charged after the period of ‘non cancellation’.

A valid credit card must be presented on arrival.  For debit card holders, a bond/authorisation of $200.00 is required on arrival.  This will be refunded/cancelled on departure.  Please note that the refund can take 3 – 5 days to show in your account.

Card Surcharge:

Please note that we apply a surcharge to credit card, payWave and contactless payments, which is in line with our cost of acceptance.  Our current surcharge rate is 2.7%.

For card present processing we offer the choice to use a debit card or eftpos card which avoids paying the surcharge.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

If booking cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no penalty fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in the case of a ‘no show’, the total price of the reservation will be charged to the card provided with the booking.

All cancellations and amendments must be received in writing.

Please Note:  For Special Events or Promotional Rates a ‘No Cancellation’ policy may apply.

Refunds will only be made to the credit/debit card charged for the original transaction.

Group Bookings:  When booking more than 3 rooms, different policies apply with regards to deposits and cancellation. You will be contacted directly.

Arrival and Departure Times:

Check In:    14:00 – 20:00 hours (Weekends or Public Holidays 14:00 – 19:00)

Check Out:  07:00 – 10:00 hours (Weekends or Public Holidays 08:00 – 10:00)

For an early check in or a late check out, please contact us directly.  This will be at our discretion.  In these instances, we will do our best to accommodate your request, but this can be dependent on availability or other factors on the day. 

Please be advised that a charge may be payable for arrivals or departures whereby an early morning check in or late afternoon check out is required.  Your request will be dependent on availability or other factors on the day. In these situations, we recommend you book the day before or after to secure a room.

Pets:  Pets are not allowed on the premises.  This includes in the rooms or in a vehicle.

Security Gate:  The security gate closes at 19:00, so guests arriving outside reception opening hours are kindly requested to contact the motel in advance.  Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation.

Smoking:  We have a strict non-smoking policy.  A charge of 1 nights’ accommodation will apply for those who disregard this policy.  Smoking is allowed on the balcony/patio area only and ashtrays are provided.

Visitors:  All visitors are required to report to reception as we need to know who is on the premises at all times in the case of an emergency and for security purposes.  In order to ensure the quiet enjoyment of all of our guests we ask that visitors and those hosting visitors keep noise to a minimum.  Visitors are to leave by 7.00 p.m. unless an arrangement has been made with management.  Parking is for motel guests only.

Damage:  We understand that accidents can happen, and we would appreciate you letting us know immediately when a spillage or breakage occurs.  This enables us to attend to this immediately to minimise long term damage and potential claim for costs.  Any other damages or breakages that are caused through carelessness or disrespect of our property will be charged accordingly.

Pre Ball, After Ball, Hen or Stag Parties:  Strictly Not Permitted
